Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking Storepersons for Bowen Basin mine sites on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster. You will manage materials, parts and equipment across site warehouses, ensuring safety and accuracy of inventory while supporting operations with other site teams.

The role requires a valid driver's license and forklift license, plus warehousing or mining experience. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position with a strong safety focus and reliable collaboration across projects.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence and forklift licence.
• Experience in stores, warehousing, logistics or materials management.
• Experience in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Safety-focused with strong site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials, parts and equipment across site warehouse and stores operations.
• Ensure safe, efficient handling and documentation of stock.
• Collaborate with site teams to maintain accurate inventory and workflow.

The Role

As a Storeperson, you will play an important role in ensuring materials, parts and equipment are safely and efficiently managed across the site warehouse and stores operations.

About You

• Valid drivers licence and forklift licence
• Experienced instores, warehousing, logistics or materials management
• Experienced within amining or heavy industrial environment
• Safety-focused with a strong commitment to site procedures
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Confident using computers and inventory management systems
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of your responsibilities
