Job summary

Norco is seeking an experienced Store Person / Delivery Driver for a permanent part‑time role (24 hours/week) across Bellingen and Macksville. You will help in warehouse operations, deliver products to farms and local businesses, and build strong customer relationships in a community setting.

Availability to work Saturdays is essential. You will assist with sales, merchandising, and yard work while maintaining safety and WHS standards across deliveries and in-store activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HV Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
• Must hold a current Forklift Licence.
• Experience in warehousing, delivery or rural retail is preferred.
• Strong safety mindset with understanding of WHS and traffic rules.
• Familiarity with local and rural delivery routes.
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks.
• Excellent communication and a customer‑first attitude.
• Good time management and attention to detail; able to work in a small team.
• Willingness to work Saturdays as rostered.
• Pre-employment police check and medical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and safely store incoming stock.
• Keep warehouse clean, safe and organised per WHS guidelines.
• Deliver rural products to farms, businesses and stores.
• Plan and navigate local deliveries and routes.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Support sales, merchandising and yard work as needed.
• Provide friendly, solution‑oriented service at counter, on the road and in the yard.
• Comply with WHS, traffic, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised Store Person / Delivery Driver to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working across our Bellingen and Macksville stores for 24 hours per week (three days per week).

This is not your average delivery role. You’ll be hands-on in a dynamic, community-focused environment, delivering products to local farms and businesses, supporting warehouse and store operations, and building strong relationships with customers across the region.

Availability to work Saturdays as rostered is essential.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

• Receiving, unloading and safely storing incoming stock
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse in line with WHS requirements
• Delivering rural products safely and reliably to farms, local businesses and other store locations
• Planning and navigating local and rural delivery routes
• Conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance requirements
• Completing delivery documentation accurately
• Assisting across all areas of rural retailing, including sales, merchandising and yard work
• Providing friendly, solution-focused customer service at the counter, on the road and in the yard
• Complying with all WHS, traffic, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements

What You’ll Bring

• A current HV Driver’s Licence with a safe driving record
