Job summary

Eagers Automotive in Salisbury Park, NSW, is hiring a Spare Parts Interpreter to join our busy parts department. This full-time role requires a customer-focused, organized individual who can work with technicians and suppliers to source the right parts promptly.

You will identify vehicle makes, models and variants, quote and order parts, manage stock levels, and assist with in-store and workshop dispatch while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive parts and supplier interactions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication and a positive attitude.
• Dealership experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with technicians, customers, and suppliers to identify parts requirements.
• Identify the make, model, and variant of vehicles and equipment to accurately source parts.
• Source, quote, and order parts while ensuring competitive pricing and availability.
• Process parts sales, payments, credits.
• Help manage inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch parts for workshop, wholesale, and retail customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical parts advice.
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturer parts catalogues and systems.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company procedures.

Spare Parts Interpreter

Location: Salisbury Park

Full-time | Monday to Friday with minimal weekend commitment

Reports to: Operations Manager

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter / store person who is driven, passionate, loyal, confident and organized with a customer centric attitude and self-motivated individual.

This full-time position offers flexible working hours and minimal weekend commitment.

Key responsibilities
