Job summary

Design Sheetmetal VIC is seeking a reliable Storeperson to join our Bayswater, VIC team. You will help keep the warehouse running by managing stock, preparing orders and ensuring materials are ready for production and dispatch.

Key duties include receiving stock, picking and packing orders, moving products, loading deliveries and assisting with stocktakes. A forklift licence and experience with steel or sheet metal are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Previous storeperson or warehouse experience.
• Good attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to safely handle manual tasks and heavy materials.
• Forklift licence and experience handling steel or sheet metal is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and put away incoming stock.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Move and organise sheet metal products and materials.
• Load and unload deliveries safely.
• Assist with stock control and stocktakes.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy and organised.
• Support production and dispatch teams to keep orders moving.
• Complete stock records and paperwork accurately.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures. Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
