Job summary

Design Sheetmetal VIC is seeking reliable loaders to join the production and dispatch team in Victoria, with Afternoon and Night shift opportunities. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will safely load and prepare customer orders, using forklifts to move steel products and ensure accurate dispatch.

To succeed, you will hold a current LF Forklift Licence and have experience in warehousing or manufacturing, with a strong safety mindset and detail orientation.

• Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, logistics or dispatch.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Design Sheetmetal is seeking reliable and safety-focused Loaders to join our production and dispatch team in Victoria, with opportunities across Afternoon and Night Shift.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in preparing customer orders and ensuring steel products are loaded safely and accurately for dispatch.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely loading and unloading trucks using forklifts
• Picking, checking, and preparing customer orders
• Handling steel products and securing loads for transport
• Completing forklift pre-start inspections
• Receiving and storing incoming materials
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Supporting production and dispatch teams to meet delivery schedules

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, or dispatch
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Experience handling steel products, load restraint, or warehouse systems will be highly regarded.

Available Shift Hours

Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Friday

Night Shift:
Sunday: 10:00pm - 6:00am

Monday to Thursday: 9:00pm - 5:00am
