Job summary

St Vincent de Paul Society NSW is seeking a Store Manager in Burwood, NSW. You will lead a team of paid staff and volunteers, drive strong sales while upholding the charity’s values, and ensure outstanding customer service in a high-volume retail setting.

The role requires proven retail operations experience, people leadership, and the ability to motivate teams to achieve targets. Not-for-profit tax advantages and promotional opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing retail stores, preferably fashion, and/or high-volume retail.
• Strong leadership skills; with good fashion sense
• Strong focus on customer experience
• Proven people management skills or experience in managing people, training and coaching
• Proven ability to track store sales performance and drive team towards meeting sales targets

Responsibilities

• Leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteers
• Ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided to every customer, every time
• Embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards
• Meeting and exceeding sales and KPI performance of the store
• Champion the voice of the donor by upholding the highest standards in product sorting, pricing, and placement
• Building and supporting the volunteer workforce and engaging with the local community
• Role-modelling a 'safety first' culture in store
• Use the company’s mission and values to support decision making, act as a brand advocate inside and outside of the store
