Job summary

Taking Shape is seeking an inspirational Store Manager for our Narellan store in NSW. You will lead a dynamic team on a Tuesday–Saturday roster, 40 hours per week, delivering exceptional customer service and a personalized shopping experience.

You will inspire and coach your team, drive store profitability, and ensure high standards of visual merchandising and stock control, while living the Taking Shape values and brand. Join a fun, fast-paced retail tribe.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a management role, preferably within Retail or a customer led industry.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and customers.
• Strong commercial acumen and business nous.
• Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a frontline team to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales through outstanding customer service and personalized experience.
• Lead and mentor store team to align with Taking Shape vision and values.
• Provide service, selling and product training to maximise store sales.
• Manage stock, merchandising and store presentation to a high standard.
• Lead campaigns, promotions and events to raise brand awareness in the community.

Our Narellan store has a unique opportunity for an inspirational Store Manager to lead and motivate their team through the Taking Shape vision and values. By leading with innovation and enthusiasm, you will drive the profitability of your store through exceptional customer service and a personalized experience.

To support the needs of the store, our Store Managers are employed on a Tuesday - Saturday roster, at 40 hours per week.

Our Store Managers:

• Are dynamic and inspirational leaders who consider all aspects of service to drive sales
• Lead by example as ambassadors of the Taking Shape brand, with their confidence and style
• Build belonging and unity by living the Taking Shape values with their team members, customers and community
• Are inspirational team leaders, providing support, coaching and mentoring to their teams
• Ensure their teams are set up for success by providing service, selling and product training to maximise store sales and growth of the Taking Shape service culture.
• Cultivate a team environment of trust, motivation and accountability, to maximise performance
• Are community minded, and drive the awareness of the Taking Shape brand through campaigns, promotions and events.
• Provide exceptional customer service, creating a memorable experience and understanding our customer needs
• Are commercially minded, managing a high standard of visual merchandising and effective stock management
• Have an affinity with the Taking Shape brand, and live, love and breathe our product
• Have demonstrated experience within a management role, preferably within Retail or a customer led industry
• Have exceptional communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong and effective relationships with employees and customers
• Are an encouraging leader with exceptional people management skills, who encourages innovation and motivation within their team
• Lead by example, and are passionate, enthusiastic and energetic
• Have a strong commercial acumen and business nous
