Job summary

The Salvation Army Salvos Stores in Lismore, NSW is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our team, drive sales and deliver an exceptional in-store experience while supporting Australians in need.

Reporting to the Area Manager, this permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to mentor staff and volunteers, manage budgets and rosters, and build strong community partnerships in a values-driven retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience is essential.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to inspire and engage people.
• Ability to work to budgets and manage operational priorities.
• Experience using Workday HCM system is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and achieve sales and surplus targets.
• Manage stock flow, pricing and visual merchandising according to Salvos Stores' standards and values.
• Inspire, train and develop a passionate team of employees and volunteers.
• Keep budgets on track and manage rosters and wage costs to keep the store running efficiently.
• Build strong community connections with local groups and partners.
