Job summary

The Athlete’s Foot is seeking a qualified Store Manager to lead our Traralgon team in a full-time capacity. You’ll drive daily operations, coach a high-performing staff, and ensure excellent customer service while managing wage budgets and rosters to align with company standards.

Work closely with the Area Manager to enhance store performance, visual merchandising, stock control, and community partnerships while upholding OH&S compliance across state requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Hands-on, proactive leadership style.
• Experience rostering and wage control.
• Strong operational knowledge of merchandising and stock.
• Ability to engage community partnerships and drive store results.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations including sales, KPIs, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage
• Motivate and develop your team to achieve business targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Monitor sales performance and implement actions to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals
• Manage wage budgets and rosters in line with company standards
• Champion team development through training, coaching, and succession planning
• Create a strong store culture focused on results, learning, and wellbeing
• Build community engagement through sporting partnerships and healthcare relationships
• Ensure OH&S compliance in line with national and state requirements
