Job summary

The Athlete’s Foot Ballarat is seeking a full-time Store Manager to lead our high-performing team. You’ll work closely with the Area Manager to drive sales, service and store standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll coach and develop staff, manage rosters and wage budgets, monitor KPIs, and ensure OH&S compliance. This role combines hands-on leadership with community engagement and brand partnerships to grow the store and the local footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a fast-paced retail team in a similar environment.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop staff to meet targets.
• Strong operational skills including rostering, wage control, VM, and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations, including sales, KPIs, visual merchandising, stock and shrinkage.
• Motivate and develop your team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Monitor sales performance and implement actions to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Manage wage budgets and rosters in line with company standards and GRIA guidelines.
• Champion training, coaching and succession planning to build capability.
• Create a positive store culture focused on results, learning and wellbeing.
• Build community engagement through sporting partnerships and healthcare relationships.
• Ensure OH&S compliance in line with national and state requirements.
