Job summary

JAX Tyres & Auto Townsville is seeking a driven Store Manager to lead our automotive team, grow the business, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will coach a high‑performing team, drive sales and profitability while maintaining safety and operational standards. You’ll build lasting customer relationships and represent the JAX Tyres & Auto brand with pride.

This role requires hands‑on leadership, Saturdays availability, and a passion for service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as Store Manager in automotive/tyre retail.
• Strong mechanical and automotive knowledge.
• Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology (Advantage).
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop teams.
• A genuine passion for sales, customer service and achieving results.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills.
• Confidence managing store operations, inventory, budgets and performance metrics.
• Availability to work Saturdays.

What Will You Bring?

You’ll will need to have:

• 1 years’ experience as a Store Manager in automotive/tyre retail leadership position.
• Strong mechanical and automotive knowledge.
• Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology(Advantage)
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop teams.
• A genuine passion for sales, customer service and achieving results.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills.
• Confidence managing store operations, inventory, budgets and performance metrics.
• Availability to work Saturdays.
