Job summary

Nike Melbourne is seeking a Location Planner/Junior Planner to build and deliver sales and inventory plans for Nike Value Stores and Company Store, aiming to hit sales budgets and manage capacity during peak moments. Forecasting with agility and data-driven decision making will help execute promotional plans across markets.

This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years+ retail planning experience with forecasting and promotional planning.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs, product and inventory planning with attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, sales, retail, supply chain, economics or related fields.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management experience with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); planning software experience desirable.
• Ability to drive ideas, listen, and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and deliver sales and inventory plans, manage capacity and stock receipts to maximise sales.
• Coordinate store promotions with Stores, Marketing and VM teams; initiate tactical promotions.
• Produce and analyse weekly trade reports; track KPIs and drive actions.
• Collaborate with Merchandising Financial Planner and Allocators on store plans; use In Season data for promotions.
• Serve as primary DSM partner for store openings/closures; assist real estate meetings on forecasting load-ins.
• Lead pre-season planning with store fixture and capacity calculations by store.
