Forever New in Melbourne is seeking an Assistant Planner to join our high-performing Planning team and support the success of our fast-growing categories. You’ll work closely with the Senior Planner, Allocation Analyst and Buying teams to drive performance through forecasting, range planning and data-led decision-making.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in retail planning, allocations, or similar.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of planning systems and WSSI.
• Commercial awareness and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for product.
• A relevant degree or qualification in fashion, business or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support seasonal planning and category strategy in line with financial and customer goals.
• Track trade performance and respond to sales trends to maximise opportunity and manage risk.
• Work closely with the Buying team to develop a well-balanced and customer-first range.
• Monitor WSSI and assist with open-to-buy management.
• Liaise with Allocation to optimise store performance and ensure right stock, right place, right time.
• Manage intake, stock flow, markdowns and promotional activity with accuracy and care.
• Conduct regular store and warehouse visits to maintain product visibility and insight.
• Coach and support the Allocation Analyst, helping them grow their skillset and impact.
