Job summary

Edstein Creative is seeking a Stone Check Measure/Templator to join our Hunter region team. You will measure sites, create CAD drawings, and prepare templating for stone benchtop manufacture across NSW's Hunter, Lake Macquarie and Central Coast.

You don't need previous templating experience; on-site training will be provided. A driver license and WHS card are advantageous as you travel in a company vehicle to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet making, joinery, or similar trades is highly regarded, as the precision and spatial skills translate well to stone check measuring and templating.
• Kitchen, trade or design experience desired but not essential.
• Strong understanding of kitchen layouts and cabinetry.
• Valid New South Wales driver's licence and WHS Construction Industry Induction Card.
• Good level of computer knowledge.
• A team player and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend multiple renovation and building sites daily to measure stone for manufacture.
• Use Proliner electronic measuring equipment to capture accurate site dimensions.
• Communicate professionally with builders, cabinet makers and clients, delivering high-quality service.
• Create precise CAD drawings for stone benchtop manufacture using Secad software.
• Review kitchen layouts to identify potential installation challenges and provide practical, trade-based solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.

Things you will be doing

You'll work closely with builders, cabinet makers, and clients to make sure every stone benchtop is cut, finished, and installed perfectly.

What your day to day will look like:

Essential Skills and Attributes

Experience in cabinet making, joinery, or similar trades is highly regarded, as the precision and spatial skills translate well to stone check measuring and templating.

If you are self-motivated and keen to learn we are keen to teach you. What we desire is:
