The Early Years Professional Learning Partner is a statewide professional leadership role within the Early Years Curriculum and Learning Directorate. The role leads the design, delivery and evaluation of evidence-informed professional learning that strengthens educator capability in early literacy and numeracy curriculum and pedagogy across South Australian public preschools. Working at the intersection of research, curriculum, policy and practice, the role translates contemporary evidence into high-quality professional learning, practical resources and implementation support that improve teaching practice and children's learning outcomes. Working collaboratively across the department and with key stakeholders, the Early Years Professional Learning Partner builds strong partnerships and professional learning cultures that support reflective practice, continuous improvement and system coherence. The role contributes specialist expertise in early years curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, using evidence and evaluation to continuously strengthen professional learning and support the implementation of departmental priorities.

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

STL3 $152,287 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%)
