Job summary

Qualifications

• Completed Sterilisation Services Certificate III.
• Knowledge of ISO/Australian Standards and Infection Control Guidelines.
• Ability to work in busy healthcare environments and meet tight time frames.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, inspect, test, pack, sterilise and distribute reusable medical devices.
• Perform complex reprocessing duties with minimal supervision.
• Respond to operating theatre requirements and meet urgent processing deadlines.
• Perform routine testing of sterilising plant and equipment and follow safe work practices.
• Follow relevant Australian Standards and infection control guidelines.
