Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience in planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience in monitoring student learning and using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff, students and families.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals to achieve student outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within the school.
• Undertake other duties as determined by the principal.
• Engage with parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and excursions.
• Participate in non-teaching supervisory duties as needed.
