Job summary

St Mary MacKillop College in Canberra is seeking a STEM Coordinator to lead and supervise a team of STEM and digital technologies teachers across two campuses, developing an innovative and rigorous curriculum. • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
• Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn policy.

• Lead and supervise STEM and digital technologies teachers within the Curriculum Leadership Team.
• Develop and deliver an innovative, rigorous STEM curriculum aligned to College policies.

About The Role

The STEM Coordinator is a member of the Curriculum Leadership Team responsible to the Principal through the Assistant Principal Academic Care for the leadership of their faculty, in accordance with College policies. The STEM Coordinator is a full time position, leading and supervising a team of committed STEM and digital technologies teachers in the development and delivery of an innovative and rigorous curriculum. The successful applicant will bring professionalism and positivity in communicating and modelling a vision of excellence. We are seeking an energetic and collaborative leader, with effective skills to support the development of colleagues, curriculum leadership and quality learning outcomes for students. The successful candidate will bring excellent teaching skills as well as exceptional knowledge of STEM curriculum.
