House Steel Frame Pty Ltd in Salisbury, QLD, is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. We design, manufacture and install a steel framing system, with frames certified by a structural engineer and delivered by our own trucks to site.

The role blends on-site installation with pre-assembly in the Salisbury workshop. You will work closely with detailing and delivery teams to ensure precise framing that meets certified drawings and project schedules.

Formación

• At least 1 year of relevant carpentry experience.
• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or an AQF Certificate IV in a relevant field.

Responsabilidades

• Read engineer-certified frame and truss drawings with detailing team to determine wall panels and elevations.
• Set-out frames on the slab, check slab dimensions and squareness, and mark fixing positions.
• Stand, brace and fix wall frames, install floor joists, sub-flooring and roof battens.
• Fix fascia, barge boards and exterior cladding; set door and window frames plumb and square.
• Cut materials in workshop and on site; assemble timber and steel components.
• Pre-assemble timber into finished structures for site installation.
• Build material lists and order timber, steel sections, fixings and consumables.
• Ensure the system is installed as per engineer's layout, with proper holes and clearances.
• Unloading and staging frames and ensuring safety on site and in workshop.
