Job summary

Coen Precast requires a steel fixer to cut, bend, assemble and tie reinforcement bars for precast panel matts. The role involves installing cast-in items such as plates, lifters, grout tubes and ferrules, and reading precast shop drawings.

You will work autonomously and as part of a team, ensuring high-quality tying and strict OH&S compliance. Applicants should be able to read and execute precast shop drawings and communicate professionally with staff and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Precast manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential
• Ability to tie reinforcement bar very well, not just lay mesh sheets
• Able to read and execute precast shop drawings

Job description

Steel fixer role in precast manufacturing, responsible for cutting, bending, assembling and tying reinforcement bars for precast panel bar matts.

Hours of Work:

2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday

(Saturdays may be required from time to time)
