Nestlé Professional is seeking a dynamic State Business Development Manager QLD to lead our growth strategy with key accounts in contract catering, health & aged care and pub and club groups. This role is designed to pursue new business and unlock long-term partnerships with key customers.

You will be responsible for identifying and developing key accounts, leading strategic initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

A day in the life…

  • Lead the state-based strategy for QLD to win contracts and tenders with new and existing customers
  • Develop a clear customer engagement plan and execution across all customers, including developing a strong JBP for key customers with clear deliverables that reach our business growth targets
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders internally to deliver a clear strategic plan with key customers looking 12-18 months out
  • Drive commercial alignment and pre-engagement planning for Top2Top meetings and quarterly business reviews
  • Share learning and best-in-class principles internally to ensure we are leveraging wins and learnings across the business
  • Own and manage sales pipelines, unlocking growth in both new and existing customers
  • Develop, manage, and review agreements, tenders, and customer/channel data to create a clear and targeted strategy to win business
  • Monitor and manage sales performance of the portfolio of accounts, providing ongoing forecast updates to ensure we deliver customer commitments
  • Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies

What you will need to be successful

  • Ideally you will come from a commercial sales background, preferably with experience in managing multi-site customer groups and key accounts. Experience in health, aged care, or key account management is required
  • Strong commercial acumen and communication
  • Proficient in data analysis to present strategies and drive informed decisions
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering key commercial KPIs
  • Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strong team-working skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Passion for food, innovation, and customer-centric solutions
