NSW Health is seeking a Staff Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology to join Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. The role focuses on high-quality diagnostic radiology, teaching, research and contributing to quality improvement within the Radiology Department.

Applicants must be a current medical practitioner registered or eligible with AHPRA and hold FRANZCR or equivalent. Subspecialty interests and regular MDT participation are valued as part of the team.

Qualificações

• Current registered medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) with recognised qualifications in Radiology or equivalent specialist recognition.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality diagnostic and consultative services in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Radiology Department and Hospital.
• Engage in subspecialty radiology areas such as abdomen, cardiac, neurological, musculoskeletal, breast or Tier A interventional radiology as training/experience allows.
• Participate in regular MDT meetings and uphold academic environment supporting education and professional development.

Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicatedStaff Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!

The primary purpose of the roleof Staff Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Diagnostic Radiology, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Radiology Department and Hospital as required.
The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
In addition to participating in provision of Diagnostic Radiology, the Staff Specialist may be involved in subspecialty Radiology (depending on training and experience) in areas such as abdomen, cardiac, neurological, musculoskeletal, breast and/or Tier A interventional Radiology.
The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) with recognised qualifications in Radiology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Positions are currently available. The Department is seeking radiologists with subspecialty interests and experience in regular MDT participation including but not limited to abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroimaging or breast imaging. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from date of application, may be considered.
Salaryand conditions are in accordance withthe NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
