Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Ward team. The postholder will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care within a multi-disciplinary team and take on delegated duties from the ward sister/charge nurse.

They will follow the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, ensure equipment is safe, supervise junior staff, and contribute to clinical governance and development of care standards.

Qualifications

• Assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care.
• Supervision of less experienced staff.
• Adherence to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide care within a multi-disciplinary team as a Staff Nurse.
• Act as shift coordinator in rotation with other nurses.
• Offer mentorship to pre-registration students and contribute to training.
