Job summary

Reapit, the proptech leader, is hiring a Staff Front-end Engineer in Australia to drive the CRM Modernisation using React and TypeScript. You’ll own front‑end architecture, coordinate with multiple squads, and ensure coexistence with the legacy CRM during the transition.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, you’ll define API contracts with backend teams, set testing standards, oversee security and accessibility, and mentor engineers across distributed teams including offshore resources.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in front-end software development with React and TypeScript experience.
• Led architecture for front-end migration or rewrite with legacy coexistence.
• Influenced technical direction across multiple teams or squads.
• Defined API contracts and collaborated with backend engineers.
• Delivery in fast-paced environments with distributed teams.
• Experience with offshore resources.

Responsibilities

• Own the front-end architecture for the CRM Modernisation across squads.
• Set component architecture, state management, and testing standards.
• Lead cross-squad discussions and de-risk migration efforts.
• Define API contracts and integration standards with backend teams.
• Support delivery under tight deadlines while collaborating with distributed teams.
