The role emphasizes end‑to‑end ownership, high‑visibility impact, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to ship robust backend systems and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor degree or above in computer science or software engineering related majors.
• Experience solving distributed systems challenges - scalability, consistency, latency.
• Mastery of backend technologies; Kotlin w/ vert.x, Temporal & Kafka.
• Experience with automated tests and quality control processes.
• Cloud technologies experience with GCP or AWS, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating with observability tooling such as Splunk, NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture and long‑term technical vision of backend systems.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of core investment workflows—from design to production.
• Build and maintain mission‑critical financial infrastructure, such as reconciliation controls and investment ledgers.
• Write high‑quality, testable code with focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Promote engineering best practices with emphasis on observability and API design.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Design to ensure optimal user experiences.
