Job summary

Virtusa APAC seeks Staff Engineers to lead the delivery of AI agents and integrations across enterprise platforms. You will drive full-stack development across React/TypeScript, C#/.NET, APIs, microservices, cloud-native infra, and AI orchestration with production support.

You will mentor teams, architect end-to-end solutions, ensure security and reliability, and mentor in RAG, prompt engineering, and agent-based workflows.

Staff Engineers

Technical leaders driving delivery of AI agents and integrations

Strong full-stack engineering with AI orchestration and platform integration expertise

Candidates should bring strong software engineering fundamentals across React/TypeScript, C#/.NET, APIs, microservices, cloud-native development (Azure/AWS), DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and production support, combined with practical experience delivering LLM-powered and Agentic AI solutions.

Key capabilities include:

• Building AI agents and conversational applications
• API/tool integration and enterprise system orchestration
• RAG, prompt engineering, vector search and knowledge retrieval
• Conversational AI, including intent classification, NLU/NLP, entity extraction and context management
• Human-in-the-loop workflows, escalation patterns and AI guardrails
• Agent observability, evaluation, reliability and performance monitoring

Highly desirable experience includes:
