Job summary

Emmbr is partnering with a large enterprise to build a new AI capability delivering agentic solutions that boost staff productivity. We seek two experienced Full Stack Software Engineers who blend strong software fundamentals with hands-on AI-driven solution design.

You will design and implement complete software around AI capability, including application layers, integrations and user experience, using Python on the backend and React on the frontend.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial software engineering or full-stack development experience.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI or agentic AI solutions.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with React or similar modern frontend technologies.
• Exposure to AWS Bedrock and/or GCP AI / Agent platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic AI solutions from concept through to working prototype.
• Develop full-stack applications with a clean, business-focused user experience.
• Build backend services primarily using Python and frontend applications using React.
• Work with platforms such as AWS Bedrock and Google Cloud's agent capabilities.
• Determine when to use deterministic workflows versus LLM-driven decision making.
• Take ownership of technical design, architecture and delivery.
• Work autonomously in a fast-moving environment where requirements will continue to evolve.
• Clearly communicate technical decisions with technical and business stakeholders.

About the Role

This is not a Data Engineering role. You'll be expected to build complete software solutions around AI capability, including the application layer, integrations and user experience.

About You

We're particularly interested in strong software engineers who have moved into Applied AI / GenAI and can demonstrate solutions they have personally designed and built.
