Future Secure AI is hiring a Staff AI Data Scientist in Canberra to lead the development of agentic AI co-workers and enterprise-ready autonomous workflows. You will architect and deploy advanced LLM-driven agents that plan, decide, and act at scale.

Qualifications

• A Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering production ML solutions in complex environments.
• Strong NLP foundations: transformers, LSTMs, CNNs, topic modelling.
• Deep hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and multi-agent systems.
• Python-focused ML/AI development; software development experience is a plus.
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Curiosity, ownership, and comfort in a high-velocity environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic LLM-driven systems with planning and workflow orchestration.
• Apply machine learning and analytics to power autonomous AI Co-workers.
• Improve multi-step reasoning, context management, and agent performance across enterprise use cases.
• Lead MLOps initiatives across evaluation, benchmarking, safety, and quality.
• Define long-term technical strategy for agentic AI frameworks and scalable deployment.
• Serve as technical authority to engineering, product, and executive teams.
• Mentor data scientists and raise the bar for scientific excellence.
