St George Hospital, part of NSW Health, is seeking a Data Quality Officer on a temporary part-time basis. The role focuses on maintaining data integrity across clinical systems such as PAS and eMR PowerChart, with 16 hours per week and hourly remuneration between $59.93 and $70.71 plus Super.

Selection criteria include health information management qualifications or equivalent experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver accurate data, reports and executive-ready

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience in a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of clinical applications, such as Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and eMR powerchart and eMR Scheduling
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in maintaining data integrity, prepare, analyse and interpret statistics, data and reports
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation
• Demonstrated experience working in non-admitted areas and extensive knowledge of non-admitted patient processes
• Proven ability to implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective service by planning; reviewing; evaluating and implementing change to achieve organisational outcomes
• Excellent written and oral communication including the ability to produce executive documents, negotiation, liaison and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and meet predetermined targets and deadlines, whilst being flexible and able to adapt work practices to suit circumstances
