Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years designing, analysing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
• 3 years experience with managing people or teams.
• 3 years experience with leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Site Reliability Engineers.
• Manage the availability, latency, performance, and efficiency of services.
• Develop and execute the goal and strategy for the SRE team, aligning with organizational goals.
• Perform, manage and improve on-call rotations across multiple continents.
• Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of Google's services.
