Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Product Architect for our insurance solutions group to design scalable Duck Creek-based policy administration solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work for global insurance clients in a hybrid work environment. Own the technical design across Duck Creek modules (Policy, Billing, Rating) and translate business requirements into concrete solution designs with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring data integrity and seamless

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Duck Creek modules (Policy, Billing, Claims) or full suite.
• Strong understanding of policy administration data integrity and lifecycle.
• Ability to translate requirements into Duck Creek designs with acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical and solution design across a Duck Creek implementation (Policy, Billing, Claims, or the full suite).
• Develop Duck Creek Policy Center components that support lifecycle activities with data integrity.
• Configure Duck Creek Core to integrate rating, policy and billing workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners and BAs to derive designs and acceptance criteria.
• Create functional/technical design documents detailing rating logic and touchpoints.

Position Summary:

• Serve as a Sr. Product Architect in the insurance solutions group with focus on Duck Creek Rating, Duck Creek Policy Centre and Duck Creek Core. Collaborate with cross functional teams to design scalable policy administration solutions that support hybrid work, day shift operations and high quality delivery for global insurance clients.
• Design Duck Creek Rating configurations that align with complex carrier specific pricing strategies and ensure accurate rating outcomes for policy administration workloads.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the technical and solution design across a Duck Creek implementation (Policy, Billing, Claims, or the full suite).
• Develop Duck Creek Policy Center components that support seamless policy life cycle activities including new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations with strong focus on data integrity.
• Configure Duck Creek Core capabilities to integrate rating, policy and billing workflows into a consistent policy administration experience for internal and external users.
• Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to translate policy administration requirements into detailed Duck Creek solution designs with clear acceptance criteria.
• Validate technical feasibility of new features by analyzing Duck Creek platform constraints, estimating effort and proposing pragmatic solution options that align with program timelines.
• Create detailed functional and technical design documents that describe rating logic, policy transactions and integration touchpoints for the broader delivery teams.
