Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Manager, Field Engineering to lead a diverse pre-sales Solutions Architect team covering the APJ region in Sydney, Australia.

The role focuses on guiding the team to design impactful solutions and drive growth through collaboration and innovation. You will empower your team to communicate complex ideas clearly, support strategic enterprise customer engagements, and build lasting partnerships with clients and internal stakeholders, contributing to Databricks’ values

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a high-performing, inclusive pre-sales team

• Work closely with Sales and other teams to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven, value-focused solutions
• Establish best practices that improve team efficiency, collaboration, and business impact
• Build trusted relationships with customers and partners, acting as a strategic advisor in their digital transformation journey
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Services, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Represent Databricks as part of the regional leadership team, contributing to our local presence and inclusive culture
