Trade-Qualified Spray Painter | Aviation & Aerospace | Quality & Compliance

2XM Recruit is currently seeking a Trade-Qualified Spray Painter to join a specialised manufacturing environment within the Aviation & Aerospace industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Spray Painter who understands that precision, quality and compliance are just as important as the finished product.
The role would ideally suit someone with experience in aviation, aerospace, defence, automotive, industrial or other highly regulated manufacturing environments where strict procedures, product knowledge, quality standards and detailed documentation are part of everyday work.

About the role

As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and coating components to a high standard while following strict quality, safety and compliance procedures. This is not a typical high-volume commercial spray painting role. Attention to detail, understanding coating systems and the ability to follow technical processes are critical.

The role involves

• Surface preparation and spray application
• Achieving consistent, high-quality finishes
• Working with different coatings, paints and associated products
• Following technical specifications and established procedures
• Completing detailed production and quality documentation
• Maintaining accurate records and traceability
• Working within strict safety and compliance requirements
• Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets required standards

  About you

  We are looking for a trade-qualified Spray Painter with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. You will ideally have experience in one or more of the following:

  • Aviation / Aerospace
  • Defence
  • Automotive
  • Industrial manufacturing
  • Heavy equipment
  • Other highly regulated or quality-controlled environments

  Experience working with specialised coatings, primers and paint systems will be highly regarded. Most importantly, you will need to be someone who:

  • Takes pride in producing high-quality work
  • Understands the importance of following procedures and specifications
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Is comfortable with detailed paperwork and compliance requirements
  • Understands the importance of product traceability and quality control
  • Has strong knowledge of paint preparation and application

  Working hours

  Monday – Thursday: 5:30am – 2:00pm
  Friday: 5:30am – 12:00pm
  Some flexibility is available.
  Overtime is also available for those who want to increase their earning potential.
