Job summary

State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) is seeking a Sports Technology Officer to support setup, operation and pack-down of sports tech at Melbourne venues. You will operate timing systems and scoreboards, assist with equipment movement and preparation, and work with supervisors to deliver high‑quality event outcomes.

Role mainly at MSAC and Lakeside Stadium with opportunities across all SSCT venues, contributing to elite and community sports, schools and events.

Qualifications

• Experience at sporting events or event operations.
• Familiarity with timing systems and scoreboards.
• Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent computer literacy and communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Current Victorian Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist setup, operation and pack-down of sports technology equipment for bookings and events.
• Operate timing equipment and scoreboards to support event delivery.
• Help move and prepare equipment across venues.
• Collaborate with supervisors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Ensure a positive customer experience for organisers, participants and staff.
• Support national, international, community and school events.
