Job summary

Axis Sydney in Surry Hills seeks an experienced Sports or MSK Physiotherapist (3+ years) to join our collaborative team across two clinics. You will diagnose injuries and guide rehab in partnership with performance coaches to return clients to sport.

Work with our Head Physiotherapist and Head of Performance to develop rehab and performance strategies, build GP relationships, and grow the Lab as a leading post-operative rehab centre.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical experience in MSK/sports
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Excellent communication with clients, coaches and colleagues
• Knowledge in S&C principles and Clinical Pilates desirable
• Masters in Sports Physiotherapy is desirable
• Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
• Current Senior First Aid and CPR
• Current Working With Children Check

Responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload of musculoskeletal, sports, post-surgical and clinical Pilates clients
• Deliver strength and conditioning rehabilitation from weekend warriors to elite athletes
• Collaborate with Head Physiotherapist and Head of Performance to develop and deliver rehab and performance strategy
• Help build a culture of integration and information sharing that benefits client outcomes and staff engagement
• Support colleagues with complex injuries and cases
• Build relationships with GPs and Sports Physicians to grow the Lab as a leading centre for post-operative rehabilitation

Axis Sydney is a two-clinic health and performance practice in Surry Hills, home to Axis Physio & Pilates and Axis Performance Lab. We're looking for an experienced Sports or MSK Physiotherapist (3+ years) to join our team.

At Axis, physiotherapists diagnose and manage the injury, then work hand in hand with our performance coaches to get clients back to sport and beyond. You'll be part of a genuinely collaborative team, not working in isolation.

Role and responsibilities

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of clinical experience, ideally including private practice and sports organisations
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
• Excellent communication with clients, coaches and colleagues
• Knowledge in S&C principles and Clinical Pilates highly desireable
• Masters in Sports Physiotherapy (completed or in progress) is desirable
• Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
• Current Senior First Aid and CPR
• Current Working With Children Check
