Job summary

The Victorian State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) is seeking a Venue Operations Officer to manage event set-ups and pack-downs across MSAC and Parkville. You will help deliver safe, high-quality venue operations and maintain clean, organised environments for athletes, patrons and community users.

Work collaboratively with supervisors and event teams, adapt to flexible shifts, and uphold SSCT’s values of teamwork, safety, excellence and respect.

Qualifications

• Experience in sports, events, or venue operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform manual handling and physical tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Valid Working with Children Check and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver event and booking set-ups and pack-downs across MSAC and Parkville (SNHC), ensuring all configurations meet event requirements and safety standards.
• Supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality venue operations through equipment movement, maintenance assistance and presentation of spaces.
• Collaborating with supervisors, event teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Maintaining clean, organised and safe sporting and operational environments for athletes, patrons and community users.
• Working flexibly across multiple venues, supporting events and operations at both MSAC and Parkville as required.
