Job summary

Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee is seeking a Programme Management Officer to support the Sport and Athlete Functional Area. The role focuses on planning, coordination, monitoring and reporting of activities, ensuring milestones and risks are captured and tracked to inform decision making.

The role involves maintaining schedules, governance inputs and reporting frameworks, and working with sport programme leads to develop clear work plans and mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate programme activities across multiple workstreams.
• Experience applying structured planning and scheduling approaches.
• Strong governance, reporting and issue-tracking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and monitoring of the Sport Programme schedule.
• Support leads to establish work plans, timelines and reporting.
• Maintain a consolidated view of activities and progress and track overdue actions.
• Develop mitigation plans for at-risk milestones and delivery risks.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting materials for governance.
• Identify dependencies across workstreams to support delivery.
• Coordinate governance meetings and briefing materials, tracking actions through to completion.
• Contribute to process improvements in planning and reporting.
