St Eugene College, Burpengary, part of Brisbane Catholic Education Office, invites applications for a Program Leader (Sport) to drive sport and extracurricular programs for years 7–12. You will lead staff, coordinate resources, and ensure outcomes align with school values.

The role is a full-time fixed-term appointment with opportunities for ongoing leadership, salary in the mid-to-upper band, and the Middle Leader Allowance under BCE policies.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in school-based programs and support for staff development.
• Strong communication to engage students, parents, staff and stakeholders.
• Organisational expertise in managing logistics, resources and budgets within program areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the designated program in the school.
• Supervise teachers engaged in the program.
• Induct new teachers within the program.
• Monitor program outcomes and address issues through interventions.
• Coordinate staff delivering the program in line with school values.
• Regularly communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation.
• Organise program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff.
• Stay updated on best practices and provide staff professional learning.
• Supervise staff quality through collegial support and feedback.
• Contribute to school leadership through meetings.
• Manage budgets and resources within the program area.
