Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
• Eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Speech Pathology, with rehab background desirable.
• Strong communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with acquired brain injury and tracheostomy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage speech pathology needs of patients with communication or swallowing disorders.
• Provide clinical and professional leadership to staff and students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and external providers.
• Lead quality improvement, service development and research activities.
• Support education and training of staff and students.
• Monitor outcomes and enhance service delivery.
