Day Dot Allied Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join Roma or Toowoomba teams, with the aim of building a dream caseload and meaningful community impact.
You’ll work across homes, schools and clinics, with relocation assistance and a company vehicle provided from the start. The role offers flexibility to shape your own clinical career within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Build the career you actually want - with a team that has your back.
Want to escape the giant caseload, back-to-back appointments and burnout that can come with private practice?
We’re looking for a Speech Pathologist (New Graduate or Experienced) to join our growing Roma team at Day Dot Allied Health.
And honestly? We think this is a pretty special opportunity.
At Day Dot, we don't believe being a great clinician means seeing as many clients as possible. We believe it means having the time, support, resources and freedom to do excellent clinical work - while still having a life outside of work.
This role would suit a Speech Pathologist who wants to:
And if you’re relocating to Roma, we’ll help make that transition easier with relocation assistance and a company vehicle provided from the beginning of your employment.
Roma gives you something that is increasingly difficult to find in larger practices: the opportunity to make a genuine difference in a community while having the freedom to shape your own clinical career.
You’ll work across the clinic, homes, schools, kindergartens and daycares, building meaningful relationships with families and educators rather than spending your entire day sitting in a therapy room.
There are also opportunities to become involved in rural outreach, community education, group therapy, kindy/playgroup presentations and other projects that genuinely interest you.
You won’t be expected to arrive in Roma and figure everything out yourself. You’ll be part of a wider Day Dot team across Roma and Toowoomba, with weekly supervision, fortnightly specialist supervision, multidisciplinary support, regular team learning and a team around you whenever you need it.
With local schools, healthcare, sporting groups, community events and a range of essential services, Roma has everything you need while still offering the space and lifestyle of a regional town. As a central hub for the surrounding Maranoa region, Roma also provides opportunities to work with clients across rural and remote communities - making it a great place to build your clinical experience while making a genuine difference locally.
Your caseload will be varied, with the opportunity to work with children and adults across:
You’ll have the opportunity to work across areas including speech, language, literacy, feeding, orofacial myology, AAC and early intervention.
Your caseload can be shaped around your interests.
Want to build a feeding caseload? Let’s do it.
Passionate about speech sound disorders? Great.
Love early intervention? We have plenty of opportunities.
Want to develop your skills in an area you've never worked in before? We’ll support you.
Want to work with a particular age group? Let’s have a conversation.
We don’t expect you to fit into a predetermined mould.
We’re a growing private practice, but we’re deliberately trying not to become the kind of practice where clinicians are expected to squeeze as many appointments into a day as possible.
We prioritise:
Quality over quantity.
Smaller caseloads. More breathing room. Better clinical care.
Support over sink-or-swim.
Weekly internal supervision + fortnightly specialist supervision.
Growth over stagnation.
Unlimited professional development funding in your first 12 months.
Autonomy over micromanagement.
We trust our clinicians to manage their work and develop their own clinical interests.
Life outside work.
RDOs, flexible schedules, half-day Fridays and a genuine focus on preventing burnout.
And because we’re a multidisciplinary team, you’ll have access to clinicians across speech pathology and occupational therapy, allowing for genuine collaboration rather than working in a silo.
You might be a New Graduate Speech Pathologist looking for something different to start your career. Or you might be an experienced clinician who wants somewhere you can truly make a difference.
Either way, we’re looking for someone who:
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a genuinely supportive team.
This position can be based in Roma or Toowoomba, or structured as a mixture of both depending on what works for you.
For the right person, we’re happy to have a conversation about what the role could look like.
DIDO/outreach from Toowoomba is also an option.
We’re not looking for someone who simply wants another job.
We’re looking for someone who wants to build something with us.
Day Dot is growing quickly, and there is genuine opportunity to develop your own clinical niche, take on leadership or mentoring opportunities over time, become involved in community projects and help shape what our Roma service looks like.
If you’re looking for a workplace where you’re supported, trusted, encouraged to grow and still have a life outside of your job, we’d love to hear from you.
