Job summary

DPV Health is seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join the Child Health Team in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The role focuses on clinic-based services for children from 15 months up to school age, within a family-centred, evidence-based framework.

Experienced Grade 2 clinicians will be considered for this role, and the position offers flexible 0.4–1.0 FTE options with a generous NFP salary packaging benefit.

We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Speech Pathologist who works well in a multidisciplinary team and partners with families to achieve meaningful outcomes for children. Experienced Grade 1 clinicians will also be considered for this role.

As part of the Child Health Team, you will provide clinic-based speech pathology services for children (15 months up to school age) who have communication difficulties. Working within an evidence-based, family- and client-centred framework, you will partner with families and a multidisciplinary team to support meaningful outcomes for children across Melbourne's northern suburbs. The role may involve working across multiple DPV Health sites to support families where services are most needed.

You must hold:

• Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology, or equivalent qualification
• Eligibility to register and maintain Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
• Experience in paediatric Speech Pathology assessment and intervention

• Successful candidates will be required to complete a National Police Check before commencement and every three years thereafter, and an International Police Check if applicable
• Candidates must hold a valid employee Working with Children Check
• A full driver licence and willingness to work across DPV Health sites as required
