Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress invites a Speech Pathologist to support Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families in Central Australia. You will work within a multidisciplinary team delivering assessments and early intervention for neurodevelopmental disorders including ASD and ADHD.

Requirements include eligibility with Speech Pathology Australia, post-graduate experience, and knowledge of MBS items. NT driver’s licence is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech Pathology with eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Postgraduate experience in evidence-based interventions for children and families.
  • Experience in assessment and therapeutic intervention for childhood disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families to optimise development.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team delivering assessments and early intervention strategies.
  • Manage a complex caseload with independence and team collaboration.
