Job summary

Mediix in Sydney is seeking a motivated Speech Pathologist to join a busy clinic. You will assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages, collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals.

The role offers a competitive salary ($80,000–$125,000) plus super, professional development support, and an EAP. You can work full time or as a contractor, with opportunities for ongoing learning and client impact.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Speech Pathology.
• Registration with the Speech Pathology Association of your country.
• Proven experience in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives.
• Flexibility to work full time or as a contractor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' communication and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families.
