Job summary

Mediix is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our well-established private practice delivering client-centred care across ages. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing needs, with opportunity to work with both adults and children.

Qualifications

  • Recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with adults and children preferred; new graduates encouraged.

As a Speech Pathologist, you will have the chance to work with both adults or children, making a meaningful impact on their communication and swallowing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients of varying ages.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about communication strategies and therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with practice policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
  • A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (or equivalent).
