Job summary

Calvary Health Care Bethlehem in Caulfield, Victoria, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary Allied Health team. The role is a full-time fixed term parental leave cover hospital-based position, with involvement in videofluoroscopy, voice banking and assistive technology.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Speech Pathology Australia membership and current clinical knowledge.
• Demonstrated dysphagia management skills and experience with videofluoroscopy preferred.
• Experience in AAC and multi-modal communication is desirable.
• Ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Pathology services across inpatient and outpatient streams.
• Assess and treat patients with communication and swallowing issues related to progressive neurology and palliative care.
