Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for full SPA membership.
• Experience delivering evidence-based, innovative speech pathology practice.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills, with high professionalism.
• Demonstrated understanding of Catholic ethos and its application to inclusive support for students and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and literacy-related needs of students, with clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and learning support staff to develop and review personalised learning plans and participate in PSGs.
• Contribute to Diocesan speech initiatives, including Foundation screening, data analysis, and MTSS-informed responses across schools.
• Support school-based speech programs, deliver professional learning, and maintain accurate documentation in line with professional and legal standards.
