Job summary

Healthcarelink Support in Campbelltown, NSW, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join as a contractor. You will work across paediatric and adult caseloads, providing evidence-based assessment and intervention in-clinic and via home visits.

Key duties include assessments, designing communication devices, developing treatment plans, and managing dysphagia, with collaboration with GPs and the broader health team, plus education for clients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current SPA membership.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnose communication disorders.
• Design, trial and implement low-tech and high-tech communication devices.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and review individualised treatment plans.
• Assess and manage swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
• Collaborate with GPs and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal client outcomes.
