Job summary

Capstone Allied Health Pty Ltd in Berwick VIC is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join as a contractor delivering community-based services across Melbourne’s south-east. You’ll build your own caseload with flexible hours, serving predominantly paediatric clients in homes, schools and community settings.

You’ll work with a growing, clinician-owned practice that values clinical judgement and meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Ability to work independently while building relationships with clients and teams.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management.
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Build your own caseload around your availability.
• Deliver therapy to predominantly paediatric clients across homes, schools, kindergartens and community settings.
• Work across a broad scope including speech, language, literacy, autism, social communication, AAC, adult neurology and dysphagia where appropriate.
• Continue developing clinical interests with referrals matched to your strengths.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Be part of a growing independent practice that values clinical reasoning and outcomes.

We work predominantly with NDIS participants across the lifespan, supporting children and adults in their homes, schools, kindergartens and community settings. This is a flexible, community-based contractor role servicing Berwick, Cranbourne and surrounding areas in Melbourne’s south-east.

Whether you’re an established contractor looking to diversify your workload, or you’re looking for a practice that genuinely values quality clinical care, this role offers the flexibility to build a caseload that complements your existing commitments.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Build your own caseload around your availability.

• Work with a diverse mix of predominantly paediatric clients, with opportunities to see adult clients if desired.

• Deliver therapy across homes, schools, kindergartens and community settings.

• Work across a broad scope of practice, including speech, language, literacy, autism, social communication, AAC, adult neurological communication and dysphagia (where appropriate).

• Continue developing your clinical interests, with referrals matched to your strengths and areas of expertise wherever possible.

• Be part of a growing independent practice that values thoughtful clinical reasoning, evidence-informed practice and meaningful outcomes.

About you

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the autonomy of community practice, values high-quality clinical care and takes pride in delivering therapy that makes a genuine difference.

You’ll have:

• Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status with Speech Pathology Australia.

• Confidence working independently while building strong relationships with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.

• A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

• A current Working with Children Check.

• An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
