Healthcarelink Support is seeking a Speech Pathologist for a clinic/community role in West Melbourne VIC/Werribee VIC. The position offers full-time or part-time hours with a salary range of $75k–$110k plus super, CPD allowance and benefits.

The role involves comprehensive assessments, individualized therapy plans, direct therapy across articulation, voice, fluency, language, and social skills, plus collaboration with families and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Provide direct therapy services including articulation, voice, fluency, language development and social skills training.
• Collaborate with families, educators and other professionals for coordinated therapy.
• Use AAC and technology-assisted interventions.

About the role:

Our client is currently looking for a Speech Pathologist for their Werribee centre. They will also consider someone who would want to work evenings and / or weekends. In this role, you will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to individuals with a variety of communication needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy services, including speech articulation, voice, fluency, language development, and social skills training
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to therapy
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including traditional therapy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and technology-assisted interventions
• Provide training and support to families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

Benefits:

• Competitive salary offer. As a new graduate you can receive anywhere from $75k - $85k plus super and as a fully qualified therapist you can receive $90k - $110k plus super.
