Job summary

Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help clients with vision and hearing impairments across clinical, educational, and home settings. You will develop ISPs, work with families and a multidisciplinary team, and deliver person-centred services using evidence-based approaches.

The role offers hybrid delivery (community/clinic), with flexible options and professional development opportunities. AHPRA-registered OTs with 3+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• OT qualification with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience, preferably with sensory disability clients.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt in varying environments.
• Understanding of NDIS framework is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services.
• Assess, develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
• Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver services across clinical, educational and home settings.
• Maintain confidential records and complete required administration.

The Role:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based services tailored to clients with vision and/or hearing impairments. You’ll assess, develop, and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs), working closely with clients, families, and the broader multidisciplinary team to promote skill development and achieve meaningful outcomes. Your role involves service delivery across clinical, educational, and home environments, using a person-centred approach to empower clients and their families.

You will maintain accurate and confidential records, complete required administration, and contribute actively to team goals and performance metrics. The position also includes collaboration, clinical supervision responsibilities, and ongoing professional development within the sensory disability sector.

Requirements:

• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification with current AHPRA registration
